Piece of My Heart is the lead single from Morayo, Wizkid's sixth studio album, released October 18, 2024 under RCA Records and Starboy Entertainment. Featuring American R&B singer Brent Faiyaz, the track was produced by P2J, Dpat, Juice Cuice and Drew80HD and runs 4 minutes 19 seconds. It samples Wu-Tang Clan's 1994 single Can It Be All So Simple — a bold creative choice that layers Wizkid's Afrobeats DNA over one of hip-hop's most recognised samples.
The song broke records immediately on release. It became the first song ever to surpass one million first-day streams on Spotify Nigeria, crossing 1.01 million streams within 24 hours and beating the previous record set by Wizkid and Asake's own MMS. It debuted at number one on the Official Nigeria Top 100 — Wizkid's third number one in Nigeria — and peaked at number 4 on US Afrobeats Songs and number 7 on World Digital Song Sales. Spotify currently shows over 83 million streams.
