My name is Precious Charles Banigo and I run Edgelinemusic from Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

I started this site in 2015 out of a genuine passion for Nigerian music. At the time, finding music online meant dealing with sites loaded with pop-ups, redirects, and ads that made the whole experience frustrating. I wanted to create something simpler — a clean, straightforward place where people could find good music without the stress.

That idea became Edgelinemusic. The name itself says it all — Edgeline, meaning at the cutting edge, Music covering everything we're about. Ten years later, the site is still running and still built around that same idea: good music, presented properly.

What we cover has grown over the years. Edgelinemusic publishes music from established Nigerian artists, linking directly to official platforms like Audiomack, Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube. We also support upcoming and independent artists who don't yet have a presence on those platforms — for those artists, we publish their music directly so their work gets heard. Beyond music, the site covers Nigerian entertainment news, artist profiles, and stories from across the industry.

I'm a music lover first. I have connections with several top music bloggers across Nigeria and have worked directly with a number of independent artists over the years. That mix of industry relationships and genuine love for the music is what drives what gets published here. Nothing goes up just to fill space — if it's on Edgelinemusic, it's worth your time.
