Businessman accuses Davido of failing to fulfill contract worth N218M

A businessman, Abusalami, has accused prominent singer Davido of failing to keep his side of a bargain after reportedly paying him 218 million naira to influence a project for kids.

Abusalami revealed on Instagram that Davido reneged on the project and refused to refund the money. He also claimed that Davido's lawyers and boys were bullying him.

In a lengthy post on Instagram, Abusalami said he paid Davido 218 million naira out of a 326 million naira project. He revealed that they had set a date and he, the businessman, had to travel to 20 different states with an 11-man production team to look for young talented footballers. However, Davido cancelled at the last minute.

Abusalami said Davido's cancellation alone cost him 42 million naira. He added that he begged Davido to post the commercial, which he eventually did in his garden because he couldn't do it in a stadium. However, Abusalami said Davido refused to do the commercial properly.

Abusalami's accusations have sparked outrage on social media, with many people calling on Davido to refund the money or fulfill his side of the bargain. Davido has not yet responded to the allegations.

Abusalami also shared screenshots of his alleged chat with Davido to back up his claim.
