Blaqbonez Files ₦2.55 Billion Lawsuit Against ODUMODUBLVCK Over Sexual Abuse Claims

Blaqbonez — born Emeka Akumefule, signed to Chocolate City Music — has initiated legal proceedings against ODUMODUBLVCK (Tochukwu Gbubemi Ojogwu) through his lawyers at Punuka Attorneys & Solicitors, via a pre-action legal notice dated July 7, 2026. The notice demands ₦2 billion in general damages, ₦500 million in aggravated damages and ₦50 million in legal costs — a combined total of ₦2.55 billion — over what Blaqbonez's legal team describes as a "sustained campaign of defamatory online publications, harassment, intimidation, threats and conduct" that has damaged his reputation and commercial interests. The lawsuit centres on ODUMODUBLVCK's repeated public posts on X labelling Blaqbonez a "sexual abuser" and "sexual abusing bastard" — allegations that Blaqbonez has consistently and strongly denied, and which remain unproven in court. The legal notice requests a perpetual injunction against further similar statements, the deletion of all allegedly offending posts, and a full public retraction pinned on ODUMODUBLVCK's verified social media accounts for a minimum of 30 consecutive days.

ODUMODUBLVCK responded immediately on X, doubling down without hesitation: "I STAND ON IT. THIS IS NOT DEFAMATION. YOU ARE A SEXUAL ABUSER. YOU DID IT. JUST BECAUSE YOU GIVE A HUNDRED BLOGS TO POST YOUR 10TH PETITION TO ME, DOES NOT MEAN I WILL CHANGE MY STANCE. IF I WAS WRONG WHY HAVE YOUR 9 OTHER PETITIONS TO ME FAILED?" The two rappers were once close collaborators — sharing credits on Tesla Boy, Dollars in the Bank and Technician — before tensions surfaced publicly in February 2025. The rivalry intensified through the 2025 Headies Awards and a series of diss tracks, including ODUMODUBLVCK's 2:02 PM IN LONDON and Blaqbonez's ACL from his No Excuses album. In late June 2026 ODUMODUBLVCK escalated into territory far beyond rap beefing, publicly accusing Blaqbonez of sexual abuse and alleging that the industry was covering it up. Blaqbonez has denied all wrongdoing. All allegations made by ODUMODUBLVCK remain unverified and no court conviction exists. The case now moves toward formal legal proceedings.
