Magicsticks handles the production and keeps the sound within the EP's overall sonic world — Afrobeats-rooted but with the kind of layered, studio-polished texture that both Wizkid and Asake have gravitated toward since their international crossover. Where Turbulence asked you to slow down and reflect, Iskolodo gives you permission to stop thinking so much and just move.
The dynamic between Wizkid and Asake on this EP works because they complement rather than compete. Wizkid brings the effortless groove he has built his entire career on. Asake brings the Yoruba street energy and melodic swagger that made him one of Nigeria's fastest-rising artists. On Iskolodo specifically, that contrast plays out in the most fun way on the whole project.
