Seyi Vibez – SWAGUU

SWAGUU is the new studio album from Seyi Vibez, released September 18, 2026 under NSNV INC and EMPIRE — and the most ambitious project of his career. Fourteen tracks, 34 minutes, and executive produced by Burna Boy, the collaboration that headlines the album's credits is itself a statement: the biggest African artist in the world putting his name behind an Ikorodu street-pop singer who has spent close to a decade building an empire on his own terms. Apple Music's editorial note on the album frames it sharply — Seyi Vibez is "determined to establish himself as a global voice of note after soundtracking the heady hopes and desires of inner-city life in Nigeria for close to a decade," and SWAGUU is his most deliberate push in that direction yet.

The album spans hustle anthems, love records and street-pop homecomings across its 14 tracks. VOLUME opens with a Yoruba question — "Se ri bi hustle yen bo se ri?" (Do you see how this hustle looks?) — that anchors everything that follows. MELANIN and BACK 2U pull toward romantic territory. PANSA leans on call-and-response Afrobeat structure. DIAMONDS reconciles jet-set lifestyle with an elusive love interest. EL JAJA is a ferocious street-pop cut. OBLE revives the "oble" phrase from his 2023 Flakky, a word that went so viral it inspired DJ YK Mule's own Oblee. And the title track, SWAGUU featuring Quavo, closes the album as a trap banger. Apple Music placed SWAGUU on New Music Daily, Afrobeats Hits, Africa Now, Naija Hits, Seyi Vibez Essentials, Viral Afrobeats and Afropop Hits simultaneously on release day.

Rating: 8.5/10.
