2Factor is track 8 on Young Jonn's studio album Blue Disco, released November 21, 2025. It brings together three of West and Southern Africa's strongest current voices — Young Jonn as producer and vocalist, Asake delivering his Fuji-influenced Afrobeats energy, and Focalistic injecting his signature Amapiano flow — on a record built around the playful metaphor of two-factor authentication as a lens for escapism, nightlife and living freely. Young Jonn — born John Saviours Udomboso — first gained recognition as a producer behind Olamide's Shakiti Bobo and Naira Marley's Mafo before transitioning fully into a recording career of his own.
Since its release, 2Factor has accumulated over 208 million streams globally, charting across Apple Music, Spotify and Shazam in more than 20 countries including Nigeria, Ghana, the UK and the UAE. The official music video, directed by Larnelle Bakala and shot in the streets of Johannesburg, captures the song's nightlife and urban energy. Its release followed a landmark live performance by all three artists at the Gold Rush Dome in Johannesburg — the first time they had performed the track together since its release — where they also performed their earlier collaboration Che Che for a crowd that had been waiting for exactly that moment. The Johannesburg setting for both the video and the live performance is deliberate: 2Factor is one of the clearest recent examples of the Nigeria-South Africa music exchange that has been building momentum since the Afrobeats-Amapiano crossover began picking up global speed in the early 2020s.
