Champion Sound is the lead single from Champion's Arrival, the debut EP from Champz — real name Boluwatife Ayodeji Balogun, Wizkid's first son. Released November 11, 2025 under Champz Music, the EP is five tracks produced by TNIA and Hosanna. No guest features — a deliberate choice that told the audience immediately: this is his own thing, not a nepotism project.
The numbers backed that statement up. Within five hours of release, Champion's Arrival hit number one on Apple Music Nigeria's Top Albums chart, making 14-year-old Boluwatife the youngest artist ever to reach that position. It crossed one million Spotify streams within 24 hours and charted in 28 countries, peaking at number 71 on Apple Music UK. Champion Sound and Champion Montana both cracked Nigeria's Top 60 singles. In the EP's own words, Champz raps: "Shoutout to the OGs in the game, but it's time to pass on the baton to champion" — a line that lands differently when your father is Wizkid.
