Manchester is track 6 on Loseyi Professor, Seyi Vibez's studio album released July 12, 2024, a day earlier than planned after he announced on Instagram he "couldn't wait any longer." The album is one of the more deliberately conceptual projects in his catalogue — six of its seven tracks are named after international cities (Lagos, Doha, Casablanca, Santorini, Abu Dhabi, Manchester), with Seyi exploring each location's sounds through samples and references drawn from his own travels, before the closing track Albert Einstein serves as an ode to the "Professor" title in the album's name. Apple Music's editorial note describes it simply as "the Ikorodu star takes a sonic tour across the globe."
