Forgiveness is track 9 on M$NEY, Asake's fourth studio album released May 1, 2026 under his independent label GIRAN Republic and EMPIRE — his first project after leaving YBNL Nation in February 2025.

For an artist whose early catalog was almost entirely about money, vibes and street credibility, this kind of accountability is a real shift. M$NEY as an album keeps returning to God and faith throughout, but Forgiveness is where that thread feels most personal rather than decorative.
An official music video directed by Director K dropped on May 9, 2026, mixing yacht scenes and city visuals with quieter, more reflective sequences. The visual treatment fits the song — polished but with something real underneath it.
