Manchester United secured one of the most dramatic results of their European campaign in a Europa League quarterfinal second leg at Old Trafford, beating Olympique Lyonnais 5-4 after extra time to advance 7-6 on aggregate.

It capped a match with nine goals, two red card moments, and a finish that came in literally the last action of the game. Manchester United advanced to face Athletic Club Bilbao in the semifinals, after the Spanish side beat Rangers 2-0 to book their own place in the next round.
