Pray is track 16 — the closing track on Morayo, Wizkid's sixth studio album released November 22, 2024. Ending an album is one of the hardest things to do well. Too light and it feels unfinished. Too heavy and it leaves the listener drained. Pray gets it right. It closes the album the way the album needed to be closed — with faith, not finality.
Nigerian Entertainment Today highlighted Pray alongside Karamo and Kese as one of the album's most emotionally and rhythmically deep tracks. That's a significant observation because Kese was the lead single and the most commercially hyped record on the project. For a closing track with no features to sit in that company says everything about how much it carries.
