GLOBAL: Champion England Boxer faces Deportation to Nigeria because his Parents Immigrated Illegally when he was 14

29-year-old Bilal Fawaz faces been deported out of the UK to Nigeria from where his parents emigrated when he was just 14, Daily Mail reports.
Fawaz, who refers to himself as Kevin, was taken to the UK by his cousin who promised his father would be arriving soon.
Fawaz said he was treated “like a slave” and ran away, and after a life involving bad gangs and getting shot once and stabbed 25 times, he became a boxer.
He has since represented the UK 6 times in boxing, he is currently ranked the 3rd best middleweight in England, and was the 2012 ABA light-middleweight champion.
The Home Office rejected his application to remain in the UK, and declared his marriage to a British citizen void.
Accordng to Daily Mail, he was arrested and taken to the Tinsley House Immigration Removal Centre in Gatwick on November 29.
Fawaz says his mother is dead and he has no idea where his father is.
He also says he’s stateless, as his parents were Lebanese immigrants to Nigeria, and did not have Nigerian citizenship themselves. He said:
I have no other family to go back to, I don’t know anyone in Nigeria or anything about it – all I know is here.

Imagine how it feels to represent a country and then to have that country turn around and put you in what feels like a prison.

GLOBAL: Beyoncé Hashtag Results Hidden On Instagram After Twins Photos Surface

GLOBAL: Beyoncé Hashtag Results Hidden On Instagram After Twins Photos Surface

The Beyoncé hashtag on Instagram no longer produces results on Instagram. When viewed on mobile, searching the hashtag leads to a blank screen with the words “No Posts Yet,” while the desktop view shows only the top results, as well as a disclaimer for why the results have been limited.

“Recent posts from #beyonce are currently hidden because the community has reported some content that may not meet Instagram’s community guidelines,” it reads. Specific information on why the results have been hidden is not provided, but Instagram does have some info on why Most Recent posts for a hashtag would not be showing up. “We may remove the Most Recent section of a hashtag page if people are using the hashtag to post abusive content in a highly visible place,” a page from IG’s Help section reads. “If that’s the case, you’ll only see Top Posts on a hashtag page for a limited period of time.”
On Saturday, paparazzi photos of Beyoncé’s twins Sir and Rumi Carter, whose images had previously only been shared via an official shoot following their birth, made their way online. The pictures were taken from afar during a family trip to Miami, very clearly without Beyoncé’s knowledge or permission. While it has not been confirmed that this is the reason for the limiting of Beyoncé’s hashtag results, it seems quite likely. If Bey’s fanbase has been reporting the photos on the platform as abusive, it could have played a role in the limited search.
Fans noticed that the hashtag results had been limited Saturday night, and some have also reported that accounts that posted photos of the twins have since been shut down. While there is no evidence that Beyoncé herself had anything to do with Instagram’s reaction to the photos, Twitter users had some fun imagining Bey was ordering the cancellation of certain accounts.

GLOBAL: Another woman accuses Gossip Girl’s Ed Westwick of Rape

GLOBAL: Another woman accuses Gossip Girl’s Ed Westwick of Rape
Another woman, Aurelie Wynn, has alleged that she was raped by “Gossip Girl” actor Ed Westwick.
This is coming 2 days after actress Kristina Cohen accused him of the same thing.
Cohen had on Monday said she was raped by Westwick after she and her boyfriend visited the actor in his home.
In the new allegation, Wynn said the incident took place in July 2014, with the surrounding events similar to that of Cohen’s.
She said she had visited Westwick in the company of a friend, and they had decided to get some shut eye when the actor forced himself on her.
She had said no, she said, but the actor pushed her face down and ripped her bathing suit.
She said she had told her boyfriend at the time, Mark Salling, who recently pleaded guilty to child pornography charges.
Salling had pretended not to know who Westwick was, then had blamed Wynn and broken up with her, she said.
Wynn added that she’s coming out with the story to support Cohen’s claim, saying she believed her.
Read her full post below:
In July 2014, I went through a very similar ordeal with Ed Westwick, I was ubered by Ed to the Glendower Estates where he was renting following an invite from a girl friend of mine who was dating his roommate a cast member on Glee, we all hung out until 5am, sun was starting to rise since it was summer so we all decided to get a few hours of shut eye since we all had events and things to do the next day and there are plenty of bedrooms.

And like Kristina, I said no and he pushed me face down and was powerless under his weight.

I was wearing a one piece bathing suit that he ripped, I was in complete shock, I am also very tiny.

When it was over I got my cellphone and found that the girl that had invited me had left or got kicked out. I had terrible service in the estate without access to the wifi and had to get another friend to get me an Uber out of there while Ed was passed out. The house is so big I took a video of my experience getting out of the house since it’s literally a maze.

I told the guy I was seeing that I got raped, Mark Salling, and when he found out by who he pretended not to know him, then blamed me for it and broke it off with me. My other friends and people around me told me it was best not to say anything, to not be “that girl” and that no one would believe me and think I was just out trying to get my 10 seconds of fame.

And so I kept quiet and soon got to see and hear how prevalent sexual assault and intimidation goes on in this industry…to the point where I questioned how much I really wanted to be in entertainment as I didn’t see it getting better.

And at what cost? I’ve since moved on from acting and wanted just to reenforce Kristin Cohen’s claim as I believe them to be true. #alllivesmatter.

I am so incredibly thankful all of this is finally coming to light and that there is justice in the world.

I believe you Kristina Cohen and thank you for speaking up so eloquently and really encompassing what young female actresses have to go through at the hands of men like Ed Westwick. Without you I would not have had the strength to speak up publicly about my ordeal. #metoo

GLOBAL: Meet Sophia The First Robot In History To Become A Citizen Of A Country

GLOBAL: Meet Sophia The First Robot In History To Become A Citizen Of A Country

Sophia is the first robot in history to be granted robot citizenship of a country, the robot who became a citizen of Saudi Arabia hardly a week ago has taken robotics one step closer to being infused into our daily lives.
Sophia was created by Hanson Robotics and she’s truly one of a kind, the focus area is currently on her intelligence. The other parts of her body such as her legs and hands (though her hands work pretty well already) have not been fully developed, but all that will be looked into with subsequent upgrades.
Sophia
Sophia is a humanoid robot that was granted the first ever Saudi citizenship for a robot. The CEO of Hanson Robotics explains the idea behind Sophia is to build the full human experience in a robot, pushing boundaries and making robots that can really understand us and care about us.
Her AI (Artificial Intelligence) was made using SingularityNet, the AI is basically the brain of the robot, and the work put into SingularityNet is simply amazing. She’s currently able to express over a thousand human emotions, and she can engage in intelligent conversations with humans effortlessly.

Her Looks

Sophia was designed to look like Audrey Hepburn. Audrey Kathleen Ruston (full name) was a British actress and humanitarian who died at the age of 63 due to Appendiceal cancer. Sophia embodies Hepburn’s classic beauty: porcelain skin, a slender nose, high cheekbones, an intriguing smile, and deeply expressive eyes that seem to change color with the light.

Sophia At The United Nations
Above is a video of Sophia being interviewed by the United Nations Deputy Secretary-General Amina J. Mohammed. This interview took place at the UN General Assembly Second Committee and the Economic and Social Council joint meeting on “The future of everything – sustainable development in the age of rapid technological change.”

Irony Of Citizenship
The irony of the citizenship is that Saudi Arabia is well known for having some of the worst women rights policies, it was only until late this year women were allowed to drive in the country.

Hanson Robotics
Hanson Robotics are the masterminds behind Sophia, the company creates amazingly expressive and lifelike robots that build trusted and engaging relationships with people through conversation. They focus on building robots that teach, serve, entertain, and will in time come to truly understand and caring about humans.
The company aims at creating a better future for humanity by infusing artificial intelligence with kindness and empathy, cultivated through meaningful interactions between robots and the individuals whose lives they touch. They envision that their robots will eventually evolve to become super intelligent genius machines that can help us solve the most challenging problems we face here in the world.
